Sketch lines become invisible.

Sketch lines become invisible.

Vary often when sketching in fusion 360 some lines are become invisible, they are still in the sketch, I can select them and they will be blue and constrains will still lock on those lines but I can't see them. Rebooting my PC fix this issue.
Is it a but? Or is it my PC? And is there a way to fix it?

When the entities of a sketch disappears, it's either when turn off the visibility of a sketch, or when the sketch turns invisible by itself after the first creation using that sketch

If these cases are not applying to yours, please share the file, and perhaps share 2 pictures, one in the sketch mode, and one after stop sketching

My issue is different, in my case some entities from the same sketch will be invisible and other will be visible, from what I can tell the only entities that are disappearing are lines and I'm almost certain that only vertical and horizontal line will disappear.

For example, if I will sketch a triangle then (all three lines in same sketch) the randomly one line will be invisible but the others are visible. I will be able to select that invisible line and constrains will lock on it, but I cannot see it.

I am also experiencing the same issue.  The problem is totally random and is not bound by the complexity of the sketch, constraints, etc.  Seems like the problem started a couple of updates ago.

can either of you share some examples of this?  I'm not sure if it is a graphics issue on your machine, or a more general issue.  I'd like to try to see if it reproduces on my machine.

Jeff, thanks for jumping on this.  The problem only occurs intermittently and if I save the design and close and re-open the 'problem' goes away and might or might not appear in the future so it is not possible to send you an example.  This does not sound like a graphics card problem to me but a definite bug in the Fusion software based on my 30 + years in SQA.  Just for the record I am running Windows 10 PRO on a Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3 mother board with AMD 6 core processor and 24 GB RAM and a Radeon R7 2GB DDR3 Ram Graphics card (Direct X 11.2). I have my Fusion Graphics driver preference set to AUTO.  Currently not a major issue but one that your team might want to watch out for if in that portion of the code.  As I said in my previous post this has only just started happening in the last 3 months.

I'm having this issue as well.

MacBook Pro (15-inch, Late 2016)

Radeon Pro 460 4 GB

Intel HD Graphics 530 1536 MB

Restarting Fusion 360 can alleviate the issue but this is an awful workaround.

Same here. Seems random when it shows.

I am still experiencing this issue. Several horizontal lines in one sketch are invisible.

Same here with my latest disappointment. New drawing with 2 dashed construction circles, 2 dashed construction lines and 2 Ellipse sketches. When selecting a 3 point Arc start point, all but the clicked-on circle disappear and I haven't guessed right on that second point in what feels like a week. Salivating over Sketch #7, but after deleting all the false starts, it will be called Sketch 987. Pretty much toggled every check box (one at a time) in Preferrence >Design, repeatedly. And just to taunt me, simultaneously on every start click, the drawing jumps across the screen, while all the posted fixes (I'm juggling the 2 fixes for sanity) for that are for AutoDesk, Inventor, some free cartoon platforms and a Chevy truck manual, no matter that each search starts with the clear label, "Fusion 360, "

".....uh, no honey, no drunken brawl in here, only drawing. My frightened coffee cup just jumped through the window all by itself........."

Late Mac with OS 10 .13.4 High Sierra, which coincidently is my name.

make sure that your sketches are in order. for example: if you start a sketch and then complete it and open a new sketch, you will see everything from the previous sketch in your new sketch but not the other way around. if you open up the first sketch, you will not be able to see the second sketch any longer.

It seems that a graphics card driver update resolved the issue. Just leaving this here in case anyone is still having the issue.

Graphics driver update is NOT the issue.  My drivers are ALL up-to-date (I am an ex IT guy).  Still have the problem - this is definately a Fusion 360 issue.

I've had very, very little sleep- can anyone else verify the above is completely incoherent?

Can you File>Export and then Attach *.f3d file here that exhibits this behavior? (This is a binary yes/no question.)

Start over from scratch.

This behavior is erratic and comes and goes as the sketch progresses and happens on almost all sketches and when saved might or might not exhibit the problem when re-opened.  So to answer your question the answer is NO.

Have the latest drivers and still have this issue, drivers are not the
problem. The annoying thing about this bug, for my naked eye the issue
happens in a vary random pattern. I can use fusion for weeks without the
issue, thinking it was fixed, but then, all of a sadden I'm missing
geometry that i just created.
