Sketch geometry is over constrained

Still struggling a bit with constraints but now I need to change the 2.400" D to 2.450" toward the opening of the slots and either the model will not update or I keep getting an over constraint warning. I deleted the side sketch thinking that it might loosen it up but no luck.

Started another side sketch but same warnings.

I know I have it pretty well butchered up but just need a bit of advise on how fix it.

TIA

Very strange, indeed, @Anonymous.  This one has me scratching my head, so don't feel bad.  I'm going to poke around this a bit, see if I can figure out what is going wrong.

OK, it took @Phil.E's extra set of eyes to figure it out, but he did.  Here's the story.  The height of that rectangle is actually being driven by the 0.5 dimension at the top, because the center of the 1.5 circle has been fixed.  So, the 2.4 dimension is actually "overconstrained but consistent".  As long as both the 0.5 and 2.4 dimensions agree on the position of that line, and therefore the rectangle height, all is fine.  But, when you try to edit that 2.4 dimension, you do get an overconstrained situation.

Here is a screencast showing how to fix it:

Thank you for the help and the explanation. I guess its always been a habit of fully defining a sketch that got me into trouble this time.

After I edited the sketch as you described, I had to rebuild the model then edited the sketch again to prove out and some of the model disappears?

If you could take another look, it maybe how I'm sketching that could be causing the problem.
