sketch constraint question

Hello communitiy 🙂

I am learning Fusion and having trouble constraining a circle sketch to the centerline of my part.  I want to constrain the circle to the green vertical line and can't figure it out.  Any help would be great.

Thanks

Another newbie trying to help here....have you tried drawing a construction line along that path and constraining (coincident) to that line?

I have tried making an axis on the centerline and a plane on the centerline, 90 degrees from the working face and I cannot get it constrained.  I am not sure how to make a construction line either.  😕

Thanks

Draw a line....select that line, right click and choose the "Normal/Construction" option...

Should have added....constrain the center point of the circle to that construction line...HTH

Thanks for the tip on turning sketches into construction geometry.  I was able to project the origin point onto the surface I was working on and then use the vertical/horizontal constraint and the circle snapped to the projected point and then I was able to cut the circle out.

Thanks!

Many more questions of learning to come. 🙂
