Sketch Blocks (Inventor reference)

hey guys,

I have a panel where I want to cut out (CNC) a number of rectangular openings of the same side onto.

I was thinking that I could model the base panel and then create "parametric" sketches that I could drop into the model and position as needed. Then if I need make them bigger or smaller, I can just change one and they all update...

If there such workflow inside Fusion 360? I know there is in inventor and even autocad - haha

Thanks !!!!!

Yes this exists in fusion. Under the modify tab you click on change parameters, you can then add new ones and define your sketch from this. Create a feature, then pattern said feature. Then they will all update when you change the parameter.

Thanks for your response.

I was looking to build a library of sketches I can import to the face of a part to cut openings in a reusable manner.
