Simulation - torque and rotation

Recently I started with Fusion 360 simulation. I generally understand the workflow for static stress and one component. I have to perform a simulation of spring powered mechanism (like in mechanical clock). I guess non-linear static stress and event simulation are best for that. Unfortunately I couldn't find a way to add rotating force to the spring. I tried to add a pin constrain to the circular hole in green arm and moment load to the same face but it seems not to work. How to setup the simulation the correct way? I want to get spring deflection under certain load as an output.

Nonlinear Stress should do the trick.  You'll need to apply your Moment load at the far end of the lever rather than on the inside face of the pivot hole.  The solver doesn't like it when you apply loads and constraints on the same entity (face, edge, vertex).  I downloaded your design and tried the Moment Load on the rounded face at the end of the lever.  I used a magnitude of 10000 N-mm to emulate your Force load of 50N and the distance of 200mm.  Attached is an image of the results.

Awesome! Thank you!

Indeed moment load is a bit tricky and hard to visualize but this is exactly what I was looking for!

hi! I'm very new in fusion360, I need to create a spiral spring exactly like yours, if you can pleas tel me how (you dont have to elaborate, just where can I find creating a real spring and in a spiral shape like yours?

You probably should have started a new thread with a link back to this thread for reference...

Spiral is under the Coil command.

You can change the width from square to rectangular after creation.
