Tell me, how can I simulate the kinematics of the vehicle's suspension? Perhaps there is a plug-in for making graphics of interesting parameters when moving components?

I'm interested in changing the angle of the hub when moving the levers.

Hi @Anonymous -

Kinematic motion can be simulated using Motion Studies in Fusion 360, which is subset of the Assembly functionality. To learn more about this, see our help documentation on this topic. http://help.autodesk.com/view/fusion360/ENU/?guid=GUID-9FD917E8-C548-4E46-AB24-011FD562AE74

Further, here is our playlist of YouTube videos that discuss this and related topics - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nngmNos6VI4&list=PLmA_xUT-8UlKugGDXRAugKLUP4vNFJYXC

It is important to note that while these motion studies can be completed this is not a true rigid body motion solver. For example, you will not be able to extract the forces, velocities or accelerations of the motion. This is simply a tool to animate the joint relationships and drive the model through the limits that you define.

I hope this helps. Let us know if you have any more questions.

Thanks,

Mike Smell
