Simple Loft error?

very simple loft, from the square face of the floating object to the rectangle face on the part.. but it errors out no mater what.. what am I missing?  seems stupid simple and should work?

this is the "hollow loft" problem.  Loft, unfortunately, cannot handle this type of geometry in one go.  If you search for "hollow loft" you can find other discussions on this topic.  Today, you have to do it in two steps:

cool.. OK just loft outer then inner.. simple, actually better as I want to "model" the inside shape so I can do that easier actually with a section analysis .. thanks!!
