Simple Circle Diameter Change

Ok, this is pathetic, but I have a brain freeze.

Sketched a simple center circle and can change diameter by just dragging it.

If I now add a dimension I have constrained it, right?

How can I remove the constraint so I can again set a "new" diameter?

Using the "new" fusion UI. With the older version I thought one would use Modify > Change Parameters > change dimension listed in expression column, etc. But Modify does not have the Change Parameters any more.

The dimension 'drives' the circle diameter so...

  1. Edit the sketch with a double-click in the timeline (or right-click it & select Edit Sketch from the pop-up menu)
  2. Double-click the dimension and enter a new value.
  3. Exit sketch
  4. Voila!

I've created a Windows application (and now Mac as well) for creating custom thread files for Fusion. You can find out about it here. Hope you find it useful.
If you need to know how to offset threads for 3D printing then I've created a guide here which you might find useful.
If you would like to send me a tip for any help I've provided or for any of my software applications you've found useful, you can do this via my Ko-Fi page here.

Modify still has Change Parameters unless you're in Direct Model mode.

I was in the Design mode using the "new" UI. Could you show me where the "Change Parameters" is located?

I have been known to stand in the grocery isle looking directly at the product I wanted, and yet couldn't find it.

I better expand some on my original question. I was trying to increase the ID on a Spur Gear. So it really was not "just" a circle. I should have said that before in my original question.

What I ended up doing was making a slightly larger ID "ring" and cutting the gear some. It may have been easier to just make the gear from start.
