I wonder if integrated 2D paint is a typo and actually refers to integrated 2D printing
I read that in a few posts, can't seem to find much with a quick search. I think there's going to be the ability to paint on surfaces or something.
There is a mention at the bottom of this Ideastation request.

Hi All,
Sheetmetal will be in 2016, there is a project being put together and my colleague on the F360 product management team Mike Prom has been speaking to customers and gathering requirements. If he has additional data to add I'll let it open for him, but rest assured that it is high on our priority list.
With regards to some of the other items on the list - surfacing enhancements (aka advanced modeling), 2D paint and 3D print environment - these are all projects that we are aiming to start working in on 2016 but it is too early to tell when the release of those projects might be.
Hope that helps,
Colin
