Hi,I have a question about how to modified a flange that is part of a sheetmetal part, hope the image can give a good idea.

In Alibre 3D I can modified each of the flanges sketches, so I can on each flange modified angles or do "cutbacks" etc..Is it something that is not done yet? or a lack or feature to achieve this? 002.jpg003.jpg

@Felipe.G,

We have built in flange edge width options into the dialog box.  There has been issues with discoverability, so we are working on having the in canvas manipulators on for the last flange created by default.  This way when you grab them the flange will change from full edge to offset.  I created a video below showing some workflows, if you want more control over the shape of the flange you can create a sketch and then a cut.  I used the unfold and then fold feature, because this is our solution for cutting across bends.  At the end of the video I use offset face and extrude to manipulate the flange shape.  Right now these tool do not follow all sheet metal rules, so you have to be careful.  Workflows like this were brought to our attention during the preview and are prioritized over an edit flange sketch option.  At this point I cannot say that we will add this or when it would be done.

On a different note, If you are in north america, we are having a sheet metal challenge to celebrate our release.  The first place prize is a trip to San Francisco, where you will have the opportunity to create your design and put it on a truck.  Let me know if you have any quesitons.
