Sheetmetal dustpan

Hi there Autodesk community. I'm fairly new at Fusion so please excuse if this is a simple question. I have a dustpan I am trying to draw in Sheetmetal.  I cannot work out how to draw this old dust pan design I wanted to update. It is frustrating because it seems such a simple design but i feel like i can't get past step 2. I feel like i wish i could draw in the flat and fold to shape but as far as i understand this is not how its done. I draw the biggest flat part on the bottom but when i turn into flange i cannot change the size of the next flange that holds the handle. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks for your time in advance, Lynden.20180910_084612.jpg

Whoever created that drawing could benefit from a Technical Drafting 101 class.

Are you famliar with the 4 rules of sheet metal?

?Haha yes i agree i think that drawing is crap too but i like the general concept which is why i wanted to improve into a more worthy drawing. The four rules of sheet metal?? I will say no? I have watched Lars tutes on sheetmetal and researched kfactor, but alas I am still frustrated with this project. I fell like it wouldn't take long at all if i knew what i was doing a bit more. Have you tried drawing this object? Is it easy? Thanks for taking time to reply BTW I wasn't sure if i would get a reply like I said I'm fairly knew to the whole game but super keen to improve I just feel stuck on this one.

Can you show me a link to the best tutorial or solutions page to solve this problem? Thanks again, Lynden.

Thought I'd give this a go using just the sheetmetal workspace. I used your flat pattern as a layout sketch/cropping template. I'm not as impressed with the workflow as I would like, changing the layout sketch will likely cause issues down the time line. I couldn't get the angles stated in the instruction to work correctly so I took a bit of licence there.

The whole thing involved some to-ing and fro-ing with bend reliefs and angles - since F360 becomes far too unreasonable with intersecting bodies (good so you don't create impossibilities at the end of the day, but can be a pain since sometimes its more intuitive to fix an intersection after it happens rather then before)

... i wanted to improve into a more worthy drawing. The four rules of sheet metal?..

I am surprised that Lars did not cover these rules as they are fundamental to sheet metal design in any MCAD software.

Here are a couple of completed examples - when I get a chance - I will post examples with Timeline intact.  (I have to convert steps from other software to Fusion techniques).
