It was a bit of a struggle to find much documentation on the various modes of text in the Title Blocks. So through lots of trial and error I wrote down these notes, hope it helps someone! Link to template below.

Title Block Editing Notes
1. Create template
1.1. Set fonts in settings and sheet settings before creating Attribute text
1.2. Create TitleBlock and populate
1.2.1. TB 'Text' edits will always be visible and persistent across pages
1.2.2. TB 'Custom Attributes' fill these with suggested text, displayed with populating a TB (Attributes can be pre filled, see Page Title)
1.2.2.1. TB Attribute population edits are not persistent across pages
1.2.3. TB Attributes are inherited from design file, can't really config these
1.3. Create any template sheet edits
1.3.1. Sheet edits create page defaults, but are not persistent
1.3.2. Populating TB Custom Attributes will be copied, but not persistent
2. Create Drawing
2.1. Template views will not be applied if creating a drawing from animation
2.2. Fill TitleBlock - double click - populate level
2.2.1. You can see and populate Attributes (blue), changes not persistent on other pages
2.3. Edit TitleBlock - edit level
2.3.1. Edit the black text as needed, all changes will update across pages.

I'm finding there are problems exporting PDFs. The text loses its formatting.

Currently my only solution is to Print to PDF. This is done page-by-page, so I must later rotate and combine EACH drawing page in a PDF editor.

Fusion Team: Am I missing anything? Is improving any of this on any roadmap?

Hey Ivan, i'm looking into this with the drawings team and will respond via the case you created regarding the fonts. @cmiller66 and i will have to look at the first post a bit more.

With Ryan's help I found an issue with new variable fonts that are not supported by PDF export. This is an Adobe PDF thing, so make sure not to use Bahnschrift or any other variable font. This will cause export issues and Adobe may not implement PDF support for years it seems. In this case I wish Autodesk could disable them until they are fully supported, or have offered a warning dialog.

The template pretty much requires a condensed style font, I found News Gothic Cn to work well.

Happy Drafting!
