I want to correct the self intersecting planes on my solid body.
I've been playing with self intersecting polyhedron shapes, and I made a "Heptagrammic Trapezohedron". To make the shape, I create each face as its own surface body first, then stitch all those surfaces together to create a solid.
I was surprised to see that Fusion was happy to recognize the resulting shape as a solid body after stitching, but the self intersecting planes are still present.
Here is the link to the design in question: https://a360.co/2St7P3m
Is there a 'best' method for correcting this issue? Preferably it would be something I can implement in the API.
Also, I know 'self-intersecting' can mean other things. Is there a better term to use for this scenario?
Cheers,
Evan
