Selecting multiple sketches

I have imported a DWG file.  This resulted in Many different sketches.  I would like to turn a large number of them off (not in view) while completing the design.  Is there a way to select them and turn the bulb off without going thru pages of sketches one by one?

you can use Shift-select to select a range of items in the browser.  Select the top one, scroll to the bottom one, put the mouse over the last one, and use Shift-left-mouse, and it will select all the sketches in between the selected item and the current one.  The, right click and select "show/hide" from the context menu:

I thought I tried that but it didn't work.  Re-selected and you are right.
