My only critique would be that the video doesn't really demonstrate why you would use the silhouette split over the regular split body or split face commands.  For your specific examples, a lot more control over the split is gained by just using a line and the split body command.  A demonstration using a body with a curved split line would be more informative, and lead into a conversation about how this type of split helps with mold making.
