See demonstration of Silhouette Split in Fusion 360!

A silhouette split - splits a body using surfaces generated from its silhouette. If this statement confuses you, just watch the entire video.

My only critique would be that the video doesn't really demonstrate why you would use the silhouette split over the regular split body or split face commands.  For your specific examples, a lot more control over the split is gained by just using a line and the split body command.  A demonstration using a body with a curved split line would be more informative, and lead into a conversation about how this type of split helps with mold making.silhouette split.PNG
