Section Analysis weird issue

Section Analysis cuts body leaving outer shell. Is it a bug? If not how to get rid of it? I want to achieve clean cut.

Check to be sure you do not have a surface body around your model.  Please attach the model to your forum post if you need further help.

Thanks for your reply.

It happens to all models I create.

I created simple one which is attached below.

I opened your model and was expecting to see the shell you spoke of but I do not.  I tried all types of Section Analysis and I do not see the effect you speak of and show.  It has got me scratching my head.

@jeff_strater what do you see?

A bug for one installation?  You are one version behind the latest.  If you are online, you should see a small "1" in the area indicated.  If so, you have an update pending, click on the Status icon and you should see Restart Fusion 360.  The latest version is.

Edit: Of course it could be a MAC thing, I cannot test that.

I see the same as @jhackney1972 .  This is likely a graphics driver issue on your computer.  Can you update your drivers and see if that fixes the problem.  If you are on Windows, switching to Dx9 can also help.  Use Graphics Diagnostic to help:

Looks this is because of old MacOS version.
On Win10 laptop I see it fine.

Thanks
