I noticed that section analysis is broken after update. It shows flickering and broken faces.

Cool, the bottom reflection looks ok....?!?!

Hello Macmanpb,

Would you be able to provide the files you are using as well as the graphics diagnostics information for your machine?  I checked on one of my files on my machine and my existing and new section analysis seemed to display correct.  With the file, and diagnostic information it should hopefully give us a better idea what is happening here.

If you haven't done so already, have you tried adjusting some of the graphics settings for Fusion 360 to see if the section analysis looks correct after that?  You can find these settings in your preferences under graphics, as well as in the navigation toolbar at the bottom of the graphics area in the display icon dropdown.

Cheers,

Hi joel,

i have tested on a other mac, with better graphics and section view looks good.

What i know is, the mac with the problems use "Graphics driver -> OpenGL Core Profile" in the Fusion preferences.

I think that's the key, i need to change that back to "OpenGL".

I will test that in the later afternoon and give you a responce how the behavior is.

Thank you joel Smiley Happy

Thank you for the additional information.  I have connected with our graphics team, and we are currently tracking this issue internally.  As you mentioend it does look to be specific to the Core Profile.  Please let me know if the other profile works better for you as a current workaround.

Cheers,

Hi Joel,

switching back from "openGL Core service" to "openGL" does the trick. Fusion now shows the section view as expected.

Okay sounds great.  We will continue to investigate the issue above, and get it fixed in the Open Core Profile.  We don't have a fix date at this point since we are still investigating, but glad we now have a workaround.

Cheers,
