Rounded Corners in Drawing

I find myself regularly needing to created a rounded corner in a sketch when starting from a datasheet schematic. Say I have a rectangle and it calls for having rounded corners with a 5mm radius. Is there an easy way to do this using arcs or other method? It would be easy if it were possible to create a 2-tangent arc the same way we can currently create a 2-tangent circle. Currently, my (tedious) process is to do the following.

  1. In the corner I want to round, I create a 2-tangent circle with the necessary radius.
  2. Use the break tool to break the corner lines and the circle.
  3. Delete the broken corner lines and the part of the circle that I no longer need.
  4. Rinse & repeat for all corners that need to be rounded.

Please tell me there's an easier way.

Thanks,

Ian

Ian,

Unless I misunderstand your need which may be likely since the answer is so simple, it sounds like sketch>fillet would do what you need and do it quickly.

No, it really was that simple. I feel silly for not trying that. Thank you!
