rotate solid object

how do i select the axis? i try to select an edge but cant select anything. can i just tell it "x axis"?

this is an imported stl file. i can do this on object created in 360. the stl is a simple block with pockets and holes.

How are you asking Fusion to do the rotate?

Move tool, doesn't need the axis selected.  It will rotate around the pivot point of the triad.

If you want to rotate it around a specific axis, there is option for that in the pop up menu of the move command 🙂

using axis you can rotate the body. and using right click you can get the rotate symbol to rotate the body.
