Hello Designers,

 

Myself Mahfoole, a rookie in the fusion 360 app. 

 

Can anyone help me with a tutorial of ATV tubular rollcage design.

Another option is to use sweeps and sketches (3d is best, but if you're new, start with 2d)

Do you have any idea if using the sweep command will allow for the model to be exported and bent on a CNC bender?

@dwoodville You need to find out what data and in what format your CNC bender requires. If the manufacturer has a document online that explains this, maybe you can provide a link to it.

as great as fusion is.

and i use it alot

there is dedicated software for roll cage design.

and it can output for cnc benders

i use bendtech3d

been using it since its release some 25 yrs ago ro so. i was on the first few people to try it out before the official release

Hey @dieselguy65 thanks for the suggestion. I have bendtech but wasn't able to use it for very long due to complications of using windows on my mac. So for now I'm trying to make fusion360 work and really want to design some things. I've tried searching for videos but I always seem to come up short and never get all the info I'm looking for.
