Rigid Joint changes orientation after clicking ok

Hi All,

I am fairly new to Fusion 360.

I have a frame and a glass that I need to assemble.

I want to place and align the glass on top of the right angled frame.

When I create a rigid join the item is placed properly during the preview mode but when I click ok the orientation is changed.

I am not sure whats wrong so any help is much appreciated.

Thanks

Hi @airbus1,

Welcome to Fusion 360. Could you please make a screencast? It will be very helpful to see your assembly and how you created the joint.

If you don't know how to create a screencast, please watch this tutorial: http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/post-your-tips-and-tutorials/tutorial-how-to-create-a-screencast/td-p/...

Cheers / Ben

I made everything parametric and when I change the dimensions the parts get misalligned immediatly so I thought that the best bet is to make them as seperate components and then join them.

i am attaching the files if thats easier

I don't know what to tell you, I don't experience that problem:
