Rendering Custom Appearance

I am trying to render Core-Ten surface rust steel on a project.   It would be great if we can import an image and use that image as a custom texture.

Here is a screencast that shoes how this can be done , including bump, or actually normal map.

The effect of the normal map is not very obvious in this case, because this texture actually came with a displacement map.

TrippyLighting's screen cast shows the current method for changing the parameters of an existing material so that you can create a custom version.  We will be shipping a "default" material that will be completely customizable in the next month or so, but the steps are basically the same.
