Hi,

so I am trying to do this water in a bottle. All fine, but when I try to render it it looks like it have interference... but it doesnt, I checked. There are 2 bodies and no interference. So why does it look this bad?

Thx,

Matt

Because the surfaces of the bottle and the liquid are Z-Fighting

You need to model the volume of the liquid to clearly overlap with the bottle.

Then you need to change into the Render environment, right click on the body, or component for the liquid volume and change the dielectric priority control to be lower than that of the bottle.

Kudos to you sir!

I never heard about dielectric priority before. So i tried it and ...oh my! 🙂

Thank you and have a nice day.

Btw. to all others that will have this struggle, i found out this great blog post on this topic: https://www.autodesk.com/products/fusion-360/blog/7903-2/

It improved my render sooo much. The scotch looks like pee and not scotch but that will improve too! 😄

thx again 🙂
