Removing separation plane inside a combined body

I have a solid body that I've created.  In one place there is an internal "face" that seems to split the solid, though it is only one body.  When 3D printed, that face actually shows up in the print and is a plane of weakness.  It's the top "hook" for lack of a better term.  I can't figure out how to delete that face.  I can select it.  I can select the lines that bound it.  I just can't seem to get the face to go away.

You need to do a little time traveling Smiley Happy

  • Move the Timeline back to the place where the two hooks were first extruded (Extrude5).
  • Use the Press Pull command to extend the inner faces on each of the new blocks (Hide the main column in order to select the faces).
  • Use the Combine|Join to combine the new blocks with the column.

That was way too easy.  Thanks.
