removing intersection of bodies

I have two intersecting bodies (lets say #1 and #2). Id like to remove from body #1 the space where they intersect, leaving open the space where  body #2 used to be. Sounds easy, but I couldn't find a way to do it. Suggestions?

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

The video will show the process.  The key is to check the box, in the Combine dialog box, to Keep Tools.  Model used in the video is attached. (Video has no sound)
