I want to add a logo on my part, but there is always a red frame/border in the image?  How to remove that?

Hi @Anonymous

Thanks for posting! It looks like you are experiencing an issue in which a red frame is being included around an inserted image in Fusion 360.

What workflow are you using to insert the logo? I have not seen the decal command produce a red outline - is this the command you are using? I have shown how to use the Insert Decal command in the screencast below.

If this does not help, please provide the image file you are inserting on this forum thread (or in a direct message to me if you'd prefer) and we will continue troubleshooting!

I am getting the red box issue as well.  The images are PNGs with a transparent background.  The red lines seem to be the edge of the overall image. So the area between the front of the speaker edge and the red line is the transparent area.  So it seems that Fusion can't handle transparencies.

Hi @lryzaguirre

Thanks for posting! It looks like you are using the Attached Canvas command, rather than the Decal command. When I tested your PNG file with the Decal command, I had no red lines around the edges.

I know that the Attached Canvas command is being used due to the red edges, but also due to the parts sticking up off the solid body. Decal will only apply the image to existing faces, while Attached Canvas will simply insert the image into the file. Attached Canvas is intended to be used with reference images, which is why it is not optimized for display like Decal.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

It's Canvas vs Decal command.

If you add the image as Canvas, it creates a red line around the image frame. Add it as Decal and it works just the way you want. No frame no red line, a clean transparent decal.

Hope that helps.
