Redefine sketch plane to origin planes

I want to redefine a sketch plane to an origin plane.  However, when I try yo do so, the origin planes are not visible so cannot be selected.  No problem with origin plane visibility when starting a new sketch.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,

Tim

You have to manually click on the Origin eyeball to turn on the visibility.

yeah, that is just a bit of an oversight on our part.  Redefine Sketch Plane should automatically make those origin planes visible, but @wmhazzard is right - you can do this yourself.

hey jeff- oversite maybe, but I much prefer fusion not turning things back on for me.  But worse, in other commands where it feels it needs to turn the origin back on for me, it will neglect to also turn the eyeball on.  I'm thinking boundary fill here, but there are other cases also.  It's a bit confusing to be looking at all the origins in the browser and see all of them are off, when one is clearly visible in the workspace.  then it takes 2 click s to get it back off.  I know this has been reported before, but I thought I'd bring it back up.

Interesting.  TBH, I never really thought about that before.  The intention was to NOT turn on the eyeball, because it is only temporary, but yeah, that does make it harder to turn them off if you don't want them.   Good suggestion.
