Redefine in what component to place subcomponent after the fact

I made a mistake and accidentally created B as a subcomponent of A. However, I want B to be toplevel just like A, hence I want to redefine in what component B was originally created. How can I do that? There's no window popping up when I try to edit the "create new component" entry in the timeline.

Thanks, but this way the component shifting leaves an entry in the timeline. I want to basically scroll back and determine where the component is going to go.

It is not possible to move components in the hierarchy without adding features to the timeline.

I find that unfortunate!
