Rectangular Pattern bug creating ghost copies of item

So I wanted to create a rectandular pattern with a beam and two studs, one on either end. However, I always get a fifth element (not nearly as interesting...) that is not bound by the parameters I established for the pattern; worst of all, it actually gets accounted for and if I manually delete it, the other three replicas get deleted as well.

Yes, I have been able to reproduce the issue. I will go ahead and log this with the development.

As a workaround for now: you can just pattern object by object instead of three objects in one shot.
