Recent Data view

When I close the last open document, a Recent Data view flashes up for less than 0.5 seconds before it's replaced by a new, empty document (I'm using the MacOS version). This seems odd, especially as I don't see a way to get this view if I wanted to see it.

Perhaps someone knows what it is.

What you are seeing is the Home Screen.  It is another method of accessing your models and drawings instead of using the Data Panel.

I'd somehow missed the existence of the home screen so @jhackney1972's answer was helpful

No posts like @jhackney1972 's is why this program is a buggy mess. It's clearly a bug. It should be reported instead of ignored.

I also can't see any of the files in the "My Recent Data" view except the one I just saved.
