 Hi,

is your project accessible via A 360 (myhub.autodesk360.com)?

Hi @Anonymous,

Thanks for posting and welcome to the Fusion 360 community!

I am sorry that you are having some trouble accessing your designs! To help me troubleshoot this, would you be able to send me your Diagnostic Log Files? To collect these, launch Fusion 360 and click the "?" in the upper right corner. On the resulting drop down menu there should be an option for "Diagnostic Log Files". This will package up most of what I need in a zip file that you should be able to attach to your reply.

Could you also navigate to myhub.autodesk360.com and send me some screenshots of what you are seeing on the "ALL", "OWNED BY ME" and "SHARED WITH ME" tabs?

Thanks in advance for the information and let me know if you have any questions!

Cheers,

Mike Tessier

For the time being i have created a new account with this personal email (not my student one) and shared my design with it, i can now access my design from this account, but still not from the one i want to be working from (my student email one)

(not sure if there is an issue with me doing this, but worth a shot to see if it would work)

Hi @Anonymous @Anonymous (not sure which email address you monitor)

Thanks for sending those files and screenshots along! I think that there may be a permissions issue surrounding the hub associated with your student email address. Could you log into myhub.autodesk360.com with your student email address and send the URL to your hub to me in a private message? In order to get those permissions issues resolved, I am thinking that I may need the assistance of our cloud services team, but in order to correct the issue they are going to need that URL to be able to compare it to some information in your diagnostic log files.

Thanks in advance for the information and let me know if you have any questions or concerns!

Hi Ryan,

so far, you can try to open file from A 360, browse to your file on A 360 and choose Open in Fusion.

So you see your projects only on A 360 but you can't to open any project (go inside) to see your files there?

Fusion does not save file here (A 360 drive), but A360 (myhub.autodesk.com). So switch please and try to see your Fusion files

when i click "open in fusion" all it does is sit there loading, nothing actually opens.

Ryan,

thank you, good to know. In this case, it really seems to be something on Fusion data storage side. Let's wait for Mike, who has your log files. I think you can contact him directly via email, firstname.lastname@autodesk.com

Hi @Anonymous @Anonymous,

Thanks for sending along that URL!

I had spoken with some members of our cloud services team who took a look at the back end, and it looks like the project was actually created with the account associated with your personal email address and not the account associated with your student email address.

Could you try logging into Fusion 360 with the account associated with your personal email address to see if that allows you to access the project? If you need to access the project from the account associated with your student email address, you would first need to invite your student email address to be a contributor to the project. We have a great article, linked here, that describes how to do so.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Cheers,

Hi mike!

So initially my student acount had my personal email linked to it, however as i thought it would be best to work under the student email that i have to use for Uni i changed the acount email to the student one. (That is the profile that is the 'admin' for the project. I could not access the project on my personal account (that i created after i lost access to the project on my student account) so in order to keep on working on it i shared the project on MyHub with my personal account.

I hope that makes sense!

-Created personal account
-changed account email to student email address
-lost access to project
-created a second acount with personal email
-shared project from student account on MyHub with personal acount

Hi @Anonymous,

Thanks for that insight!

In this case, I am thinking that there are some wires crossed somewhere on the back end of the A360 systems. I have since reached out to the A360 team for investigation and correction. They are usually pretty quick about resolving things like this, so I am thinking this should be fixed soon.

I will circle back here once I have something to share!

Hi @Anonymous,

Thanks for being patient!

The A360 team would actually like you to try something. Could you login to myhub.autodesk360.com with your personal email address, navigate to https://myhub.autodesk360.com/ue288301c/g/projects/2016110149118626/data, and send me screenshots of what you are seeing when you click through the "ALL", "OWNED BY ME", and "SHARED WITH ME" tabs, making sure to click into a project (if any exist) and include the URL?

Could you also send me a screenshot of the "Read Access Denied" error you are receiving when trying to access the project?

Thanks in advance for the screenshots! Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I look forward to hearing back from you!

Cheers,
