Hi I am wondering if there is anybody out there that could help me design a rc car trailer that I could 3d print and use to connect to my RC car my Rc car is Fast send Rc car if you need me to upload a picture I can. I would also need help so that I can connect  it to the car because the car does not have a trailer connector.

Thanks

Hi @Winston_ruesch ,

That sounds like a fun project.

Just to set expectations, the forum is mainly here to help you learn how to use Fusion and guide you through the design process, rather than designing the full model for you. That said, we are definitely happy to help you get started and support you along the way.

First i would suggest starting with "Self-Phased learning"

Later, Here is how we can help:

  • Guide you step by step on how to design the trailer in Fusion
  • Help you figure out a simple hitch/connector mechanism for your RC car
  • Suggest design ideas that are 3D printable and strong enough
  • Review your design and suggest improvements

To get started, it would really help if you could share:

  • A photo of your RC car, especially the rear side
  • Approximate dimensions (width, ground clearance, mounting points if any)
  • Any idea of the type of trailer you want (flatbed, enclosed, etc.)

Once you share that, we can help you build the design step by step

@Winston_ruesch ,

it's not easy to create from one image without dimensions and measurements.
We need all the dimensions to start with.

if you want to start with a rough sketch, then follow below instructions in the video
Design from an Image Canvas - YouTube

Hi @Winston_ruesch ,

Please start with basics and start Learning concepts Like creating Sketch & creating simple designs.

There are a lot of YouTube videos that will walk through step by step.
