Hi Everyone!
I find myself spending a lot of time adding 'mouse ears' to internal pockets that need to receive right angled parts.
My current method (for example) is to draw a square and then add circles slightly offset from the corners. The centre point of those circles gets drilled. I use the dimension number (like D123) so that I can at least update things easily. I do not model the mouse ear, just add a drill operation from the sketch.
There must surely be a faster way to do this?
I do not want to drill exactly on the corner because this tends not to clear the area well enough. So I set the drill slightly inside the corner. In this case the same 3.175mm end-mill that will cut the pcoet does the drill with a 0.7mm inside offset.
Tip and hints appreciated!
Simon
