Question about joints and motion links

I am trying to figure out how to make two revolute joints work together to get me what I need. Basically, I need the highlighted blue body to rotate around the circled joint origin on the left frame, but maintain its upright orientation, to slot into the bottom crossmember on the right frame. I have attached two screenshots showing what I want to accomplish. I have tried using two joints with a motion link, but as soon as I create the second revolute joint it locks the first joint from moving. I'm not sure what to google anymore, and have watched several joint videos and nothing seems to answer this question. The movement follows an arc, so I believe revolute should get me what I want, I'm just having issues making both joints work.

That would be a revolute joint around the center of the arc that describes the path.

If you can attach you model in .f3d format that might help.

Yes, I have the revolute joint that moves the blue highlighted body, but I want the blue highlighted body to remain vertical.

Not sure if the exact "vertical" orientation is correct but you can adjust the Motion Link by the degrees you desire.  Model is attached.

That looks very close to what I need. So what was I doing wrong? I was trying to do it with as-built joints, and I notice you did not use as-built joints. Other than that I'm not sure what I was doing wrong.

My system is doing a major toolpath creation so I cannot do a Screencast at this time.  First thing I did was create a new component from the lever body in you model so I could not only separate them from the "trough". as I call it, component but this also allowed me to use Joints with them.  You will notice these in the timeline.  Once this was done I added them back into the model and added a Revolve joint to both so they revolve around the trough.  I then calculated the difference between the up and down position of the trough rotation.  Using this value, I created a Motion Link between the main revolve joint and the front lever revolve joint and enter the calculated ration.  The rear lever revolve motion is controlled by a 1:1 Motion Link with the front revolve motion.

Just a note, As-Built joints connect the "Origins" of the components so they cannot be used in this situation.
