Question about converting a shape for plasma cutting

Hopefully this makes since as I am trying to make the jump to fusion 360 with hopes of moving further into CNC.  I currently do 99% plasma cutting.  I am trying to create a simple planter from sheet metal to be cut from my plasma cutter.  I want all 4 sides of the vase to meet up without a gap which requires me to figure out the curve to cut.  I have created the 3d representation of the curve but am not able to figure out how to "flatten???" the piece so that I can plasma cut it.  Hopefully the links work so this makes more since.

thanks for any suggestions

Hi @Anonymous,

Welcome to Fusion 360 community and thank you for posting this! There is a discussion about sheet metal feature in this forum thread. Flatten feature is being worked on but hasn't been implemented yet.
