Pyramid type shape ?

I seem to not be able to create a Pyramid type of shape. The shape I'm trying to make is a "Hip" roof, not the construction just a basic block shape. Any suggestions ?

Draw a rectangle and extrude tapered, the taper option doesn't show until you start to extrude.

If you want different tapers on the two sides, try something like this...

Note: There are better/faster ways to constrain your geometry if you want the mid-point snap like I did there, and the extrude cut is better done with through-all instead of a distance.

Thanks again.

I_Forge_KC, I thought of doing it like that to begin with and shall keep it in mind, I'm still curious what exactly can be done in F3D.

Here's another way using draft, you could use more than one draft feature if you needed different angles on some sides.
