Projection question

Always wondered what created the blue profile when I project geometry? In the sketch below, I turned off "Show projected geometry" but still see the blue profile and it wants to use that as a selection for an extrude so it doesn't always pick the entire profile I sketched independent of that.. Can someone please explain? I also attached a screenshot of preferences. Thanks in advance.

While you have turned off "Show projected geometries", what it still shows you is the "Profile" created by that projected geometry.

If you don't want to see that either, then you'll need to disable "Show profiles" as well. This can be done through the menu that appears when right clicking on a sketch in the browser, or in the Sketch Palette.

Never tried that checkbox.. maybe it should be labeled "Show projected profile" and move it down the list near "Show projected geometry" Fusion is great but some of the menu context could use some work in a few areas..

Thanks for the help!

While I could accept my own post as the solution, I would prefer if you could do that 😉
