project syncing woes

It seems that I can start projects at work and they apear in the list at home, but the items that I start at home do not apear in the project lists at work.Any solutions? I can see the projects in the browser dashboard but I can't seem to launch them from there. I thought that cloud was suposed to make this easy. I never had any problems with my homebrew folder syncing scheme I wish that using the cloud was optional.

Just to clarify - Are you're using the same account at work and home? And you are explicitly saving your designs at home? Can you open your designs you created at work when you are logged in at home?

Thanks for posting on the forum!

By "list," do you mean the projects that are listed All Projects menu?

.... or do you mean the active Project selected in the Data Panel in Fusion 360?

When you say that you "....can't seem to launch them (projects) from there (the A360 dashboard)..." could you elaborate on what happens? Do you receive an error message? Does the page just not load?

Are you using the same machine at work and at home? Could there be interference from a 3rd party software (e.g. anti-virus software), or a firewall/proxy server?

Thanks,

I'm talking about the data pannel in fusion 360. They apear fine in the browser. When I attempt to launch them from the browser, nothing happens. I assume that it is an issue with my browser blocking it. (chrome)

Same account. I'm signed in at both locations but I can't see or open the projects that I started at home in fusion 360.

Ok, I managed to open one of the files in a project that Is hidden in fusion 360 project list from the browser dashboard. I modified it and saved it. Still the project is not apearing in the projects list on my work computer. Also the individual file is not apearing in the recent data list in fusion 360.  Is there a refresh button somewhere?

Can you try explicitly refreshing the projects on your work machine? If the automatic sync is having a problem, this will fix it.

Lol! I feel silly. I just figured it out on my own just before you pointed it out to me! 😛 This is the solution. Thanks for the help.

I feel like the software should be doing an automatic refresh when it starts. Can you add this to the list for the next set of hotfixes?
