Downloaded from fireshare thinking I would quickly be able to cut something out. 3 hours later I have everything messed up and don't have a clue what I did wrong or how to fix it. I modified all of the smaller cutouts by making them larger. Tried to extrude again and can't. Thanks for any and all help offered.

Three problems here:

  1. Profiles are turned off in your sketch.  Turn them back on.
  2. You have a break in your sketch, near the base of the tree.  You need to patch it.  I used a spline, but you can use whatever you want.
  3. You have 7 different extrudes doing essentially the same thing.  You only need one.  I chose the last one in the video, but you could have chosen any one.  Probably the first would have been better, sorry...

I attached the repaired version, FYI

Hi,

If you turn Sketch Profiles back on it works fine. Why have you extruded so many times?

I kept going back and forth from design to manufacture and back because the smaller cut areas would be left out of the cut path. Then, some would be left out completely like the eyes and nose for some reason. As you can tell I am still quite the rookie. How can you tell there were multiple extrusions? Thanks
