Hi Guys

I keep having this problem with assembly contexts of the component jumping a round.

I make a new contexts, make new component or components no problem.

When i close the in contexts the component jump to a new location.

At this point no joints yet.

All I can think of is ,the WCS must be in are different in and out of context?.

this is annoying me.

I like to stop making this mistake .

Can someone tell me why and this is caused please.

thank you

Colin

If you do not start using Assembly Joints or some other means of locating your assembly components, you will continue getting random displacement in your model.  If you do not want to use Joints at this time, use Component Grounding and/or Rigid Groups to whole components in position.  I would start placing Joints early as it is very difficult to add them at the end of a large assembly.
