Problem with revolve

I cannot select the spline by using revolve, even surface does not help Please help

What are you trying to do? Revolve can only revolve around an axis. Are you sure you don't want a Sweep? Edit or even Pipe if you want a round section.

Me, I meant indeed sweep. In have succes know, but the handle, comes into the inside for a part of the handle. Selecting the right spot on the surface is difficult for me, nice day from Holland!

You could use a combine cut with Keep Tools and use your first body to cut the swept body.
