Problem with lofting

Hi,

I am trying to loft between two inclined planes each with an arch, with a curved top between the arches but flat bottoms ( an aircraft canopy). I get close to making it work but only one bottom side at a time will sit flat.   I have added a couple of screen shots in the attached doc.  I would be most grateful for any assistance.

@peter_campbell103, I think you are just missing one rail curve.  It's a bit hard to tell from the images, but it looks like you have two profiles and two rails selected (the top curved rail, and one of the bottom straight rails).  I think you may need to just add one more (the other straight rail):

But, as Ben says, if you can share your design here, we can take a more direct look at the model.

Hi Ben,

 

Thanks for your assistance - I found the problem!  I had the two side rails joined in the sketch of the base. Once I disconnected them the loft behaved.  Thanks again for your reply.
