Problem launching Fusion 360

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi All

starting fusion brings up the "update required" window every time. (I had allready installed the update previously and was ok.)

I have to click the update shortcut and run the update file, then it states I allready have the latest version "do you want to start fusion 360"

It then starts ok in a new window (allthough it seems slightly more unstable than previously"

Thanks All

Could you try logging out of Fusion 360, clearing your temp directories and browser cache and then logging back in? I'm hoping this may reset the version checking mechanism.

A stronger suggestion is to perform a clean uninstall and then re-install from a fresh download.

Please let me know if this helps or if you have any questions or concerns.

Thanks,

I marked this post as solution accepted prematurely.

I tried clearing temp and cache which didn't work

Did a clean reinstall, which worked for a couple of startups, hence the acceptance.

Tried opening and I have the same problem as previous, states update needed? which its not as when update run it states it is allready up to date.

PS only on this PC, laptop and home OK?

Thanks

After running the program successfully for a period, does the program exit normally or do you find that you have to force quite Fusion 360 in order to close it?
