Can you please add support for "Custom" printers with the ability for port/baudrate settings.

With some JSON editing you can already do this.

For example, if you modified or duplicated the Printrbot Printer, you could change the baud rate (and the port is selected during the connection process).

Right i tried that all i get is "connect to a USB printer: plug it in now" the printer is plugged in and works fine via cura (had it over a year) its on USB-Serial CH340 (Com6) @ Baud 115200.

I changed the baud to 115200 but nothing, honestly I haven't messed with JSON files before I did copy the original just in case though.

What printer is it and what firmware variant?
