Print 1:1 drawing of sketch.

I am trying to print a 1:1 of sketch for use as a template to cut out plywood shape. Of the methods presented from the help query results it appears that the path I should use is File->New Drawing->From Design and in dialogue box uncheck "Full Assembly". Then select the sketch and proceed. I either get a blank drawing or if leave the "Full Assembly" checked a terribly pixelated image.

Any suggestions?

I have not seen your file.

i use Save as dxf for sketch articles, the dxf File can be printed from a 2d cad program, to a large format printer with the embedded printer driver, and have that equipment, however, you may not be in that position.

Might help.....

Hi,

it also works with fusion.

extrude sketch > enable sketch in drawing modeextrude sketch > enable sketch in drawing mode
1. extrude sketch with arbitrary height
2. drawing from design
3. select view
4. enable sketch

The key point here - that @g-andresen pointed out - is that Fusion's drawing engine is looking for a solid.

So create the simplest solid possible using your sketch, then create the drawing from that as Gueunther describes
