Prevent an operation trying to remove material that's already been removed by a previous operation?

I don't understand how to do this. Is Fusion 360 intelligent enough to realise what it has already removed?

Computer programs aren't sentient and therefore don't have intelligence.  You may want to add a little more information about exactly where in the program you're expecting the behaviour.  I'll guess you haven't checked Rest Machining.
