Hi

Can you tell us what error message you are getting?

Also which post processor you are using?

I can get your file to post out just fine using the Dyna torch post, but without seeing the error message or post we cannot help.

Hi

If you download the latest version of the openbuilds post this error should be fixed

Hi, i had the same problem and use now the latest grbl post processor. When i save the gcode its okay now, but when i load it in Openbuilds Control it wont run. Simulation going good, running the job not. Gcodes what i before made with Fusion 360 run flawless, but with Fusion fail so what more can i do? Best regards, Willem.

Do you mean simulation in fusion or OBControl? Any errors? Did you update anything lately?

Hello, i mean in OBC the, gcode wont run. I have recently update Fusion, before a had Fusion360 and it works flawless with the gcode that i made with this version. After the update to Fusion it wont run the gcode anymore in OBC. When i push the run button in OBC nothing happend and no errors. Try different things, re install Fusion and OBC (with OpenbuildsFusion360PostGrbl.cps 1.045) but the problem stay.

My first guess is Fusion updated the Post and now its not compatible. Try an old version

I tried a version before and that is Openbuilds CNC:GRBL/BLACKBOX: Post V1.037 post processor. When i this use a got this errors:

Warning: (OpenbuildsFusion360PostGrbl.cps:1038) Setting read-only property "power" on object of type "PostProcessor". This will have no effect.

###############################################################################
Error: Mismatching arguments for invocation of 'string VariableImpl.format(Number)' (Value is not a number.).
Error at line: 1767 (OpenbuildsFusion360PostGrbl.cps)
Error in operation: '2D Profile2'
Failed while processing onCommand() for record 321.
###############################################################################

Error: Failed to execute configuration.
Stop time: Friday, October 3, 2025 10:07:58 PM
Post processing failed.

When i use the latest one Openbuilds CNC:GRBL/BLACKBOX: Post V1.045 the errors are gone and it save the gcode. But then i got the problem with OBC not running with this gcode. Very strange.  What i see is by the  line Warning:(OpenbuildsFusion360PostGrbl.cps:1038) i read cps:1038, i use the 1037 version is this the error maybe?

Hi

Th Open builds post processor is not developed by Autodesk so you need to feeding back these issues to the post developer.

I suggest contacting them here:

Thats a problem because Openbuilds is not anymore, they stop and the forum is not working is what i experience. I can not place a new topic or so.
