Plug a hole in my mesh

Sorry if this may seem like a basic question, I am just getting started with Autodesk Fusion 360, but I have created a mesh with a hole in it that I would like to make a plug for. I am 3D printing this and must take the edges of a hollowed face and create a separate plug body. Take a look at the screenshot I left below to see what I mean. Smiley HappyCapture6.PNG

I don't see a mesh in your screenshot.

I guess you want to print that object as a hollow object and want the slicer to determine the fill for you ?

In that case, eat the shell operation in the timeline which I assume Cretes the opening. Click the little "x" for "selection" and then select the body of the object in the browser. Accept with OK.

Now that object looks solid, but should be hollow. You can check that with "Inspect -> Section view"

Im sorry if I wasn't clear in my question but I am looking for a way to make a plug for the open end of the object I have made, in order to put something inside of it and glue it shut with the plug.

Create a sketch on the end face and project the edge, then extrude as a new body. You might want to offset the projected curves to give some clearance by the way. Also do yourself a favour and do some of the hands on exercises in the help. Might want to start here.

Using the wrong terminology hasn't help in this thread as you're not working with a mesh.
