Please help, my previous inserted canvas no longer shows up

I am working on a project that I inserted a canvas for and it worked perfectly fine last night, but this morning, my canvas has a red circle with a line through it and it won't show up anymore. I looked up what to do to fix it and after I click selectable/unselectable it still won't show up and then pops up with a different preview picture. It's not suppressed in my timeline. If I click on the canvas button, sometimes it will show up, but I can't get it to always do it, but when I go to click on my sketch it goes away. Anyone know how to fix this?

we're only going to be able to guess at the causes without the model. could be a bug, could be operator error. I'd put the chances at about 20/80 based on given info.
when you say "click on the sketch" do you mean your editing the sketch? any chance that sketch appears before the canvas in the timeline?

same here, canvas image is not showing the picture any more...

the Op never came back, so I'll guess he was editing a feature (the sketch) that appears before the canvas in the timeline.

like was suggested to the OP, having a file would help diagnose.

I had the Analysis switched on of the front plane which then also cut away the canvases! -that helped :-)))
