Pipe creation problems

Trying to make a pipe on the surface of body. I find the way how to create ribs on body on YouTube using the >Project/include> Project to surface and then when you have the projected line on the body>create a pipe.

I need the 1mm diameter, but i can`t lock the pipe because of error: The body would intersect itself.
Try reducing the taper angle, or removing regions of high curvature from the profile.

It`s okay if pipe will cross the body, but i don`t know to do it.

It`s my first project in 3d design so i haven`t expirience here:(

as you can see in the "Pic" there is self-intersecting 

I just remove it in T-spline environment
